1Our approach
ZYON respects intellectual property rights and expects its customers to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and comparable laws in other countries.
2Where to send a notice
Send notices to the ZYON support page. Please put “Copyright notice” in the subject or first line so it reaches the right person quickly.

3What a notice must include
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed, or a representative list if there are several.
- Identification of the material you say is infringing, with the exact URL or other information that lets us find it on our site.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may delay our response, and we may ask you for the missing details.
4What happens next
We review every complete notice. Where it is valid we remove or disable access to the material promptly and, where relevant, tell the person who provided it, sharing a copy of the notice with them.
5Counter-notices
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address including:
- identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the original notice;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We will forward a valid counter-notice to the original sender. Unless they tell us they have started court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
6Repeat infringers
Where appropriate, we close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
7False notices
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. If you are not sure whether material infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice first.
